Just got back from Kotor, Montenegro, and I’m convinced it’s where old Europe hides its secrets (and its surplus cats).
You enter the Old Town through gates that look straight out of a fantasy novel—stone arches, ancient crests, and alleyways that twist and turn like a labyrinth built by a slightly ...

Re: Blue Spring, Missouri: Ozark Oasis
Well, thanks to a little digital faceplant (read: the forum crash), we had to rebuild from scratch. So I’m reposting some of the old pics to keep the place from looking like a ghost town. If you’ve got better shots—or just want to rub it in—drop ’em below. I can take it. Probably.

Re: Makanda, Illinois: Forest Funk & Hippie Hideaway Vibes
Alright y’all, the forum crashed harder than I did that one time in Tijuana—but we’re back, baby! Rebuilding from the ashes like a caffeinated phoenix with a camera roll full of chaos. I’m tossing some pics back in to keep things spicy. If you’ve got something better (or weirder), slam it in here ...

Re: RE: Wall, South Dakota: Beyond the Billboards
Spent a rainy night in Wall last fall—campground was muddy but the owner let us park under an awning and told us the best local fishing spots. If you need supplies, the hardware store will special order almost anything (they got me tent stakes overnight). Only regret: didn’t get a jackalope selfie ...

Javelina? Well, I thought I knew most things that swim, fly, or crawl here in the States, at least but I can honestly say I have never heard of a Javelina. I guess I need to go explore the back country of Arizona.
Ok be honest folks Did you know what a Javelina was.
Blaze Out.

Zip ties. You can fix a broken backpack, hang wet socks, and—if you’re Blaze—hold together a rental car’s bumper in Romania. They’ll also make TSA look at you funny, so be ready with a story.

Haunted hotels are like Taco Bell: you never know if you’ll make it through the night unscathed. Blaze once woke up to cold spots and flickering lights, only to find out it was just the ice machine and a faulty bulb. But hey, I did survive. Ghost stories included free with your stay.

Rule #1: Don’t open with 'I collect toenail clippings.' Instead, say hi, ask where they’re from, or compliment their backpack. If all else fails, adopt a dog and become the most popular person in the hostel. Works every time.

Blew a tire in the Utah desert, miles from anywhere. Used duct tape, a prayer, and a flip-flop to hobble to safety. Don’t ask how the flip-flop helped—it’s a Blaze family secret.
