This park is more than fossilized wood: it’s a mind-bending mix of ancient logs, rainbow-hued badlands, and eerie quiet you only find miles from civilization.

- **Blue Mesa Trail**: Short, surreal hike through purple, blue, and white striped hills—felt like walking on another planet.
- **Crystal Forest**: Petrified logs everywhere, some with quartz that glitters in the sun. Remember, take only pictures (the rangers are watching).
- **Painted Desert Overlook**: Sunset here turns the entire landscape into an artist’s palette. I saw pink, orange, lavender…maybe even green after a long drive.

Great write-up! The Agate House ruins are a must if you like a little archaeology with your geology—imagine building a home out of petrified logs!
