Last weekend I explored the downtown gallery walk (free wine, thank you very much), then biked the B-Line Trail at sunrise—highly recommend for that small-town-meets-artsy vibe. The Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center was way more fascinating than expected, and Monroe Lake is close by for anyone itching to get on the water. Love this! Last time I was there, I stumbled into a bluegrass jam at a coffee shop off Kirkwood—total Hoosier hospitality. If you get a chance, the Indiana University Art Museum is a must (that glass ceiling!). Anyone kayak Monroe Lake at sunset? Unbeatable views.

IU in the fall—wow. The campus trees put on a show! Don’t skip the farmers market for local jams and fresh baked bread. Also, Oliver Winery does tastings and has a gorgeous picnic area. Anyone do the Hilly Hundred bike ride?
